I have been very busy at work. The company had me making a voting program. The toughest part, at the end, was validation of all the different fields. The main problems came from email and phone numbers. I believe we have everything ironed out now, and a new phase of testing will begin very soon.

Last night, I ordered the parts for a next computer. You can see them here. I’m really psyched about this new computer. I have an old 733MhZ at the moment. This speed jump is going to feel incredible!

Hollywood Trip and a New Car

Writing Sample “Wooden boards sharply creaked as the Marigold surged through the waters. The ocean furiously bubbled in its wake as the mighty ship flew off a tall wave. The crisp Carribean air gustily pushed the ships sails to their limits. The ship moved like lighting out of the calm waters of the bay to the tumultuous ocean.”

I was in Los Angeles last week. The trip was absolutely fantastic! I met a large number of people and learned much about the big city. I even saw an actor from one of my sister’s favorite old tv shows, Saved by the Bell. When I finally got home, I realized my parents had gotten a new car. Fortunately, they bought a Chrysler Sebring. It is a shiny gray convertible with a black top. My father thinks it looks sexy and my mother loves the car. I had been hoping for a Mustang until I found out how junky they were. The rear view window was too small and the windshield was too short. This Sebring is really low to the ground and is very comfortable. I love the way it drives and I really hope I stay in the states a little while after I finish college. My parents said they will sell it to me if I decide to stay. Who knows what the future holds. I’ve been thinking of going to China, Malaysia, Germany, and Australia.

My job has moved into the new office, and we don’t have power in the cubicles. I’m right now invading the office of my boss because he is on vacation. I’ll post pictures once everything is set up. I will finish calculus 2 on friday. I only have another semester of calculus and a semester of linear algebra to complete. I will take a class on graphics programming after I finish my math classes. The summer is getting close to its end. I will be visiting California next week. I’ll be visiting the homeless on the streets of L.A. and will befriend them. I believe everyone needs a friend in this life.
