Exploding Chickens
Here one of the pictures I took of the chicken shop that exploded last night. The authorities had the street cordoned off, and I heard that the residents living above the shop in the apartment tower have to find another place to stay until the investigation is complete. This place is literally the next block over. from where I slept. Talk about a close call. I walked around town today and bought my train tickets out to where I’m staying for the next few months. The weather is wet. When I got off the plane it was excruciatingly humid. My t-shirt was soaked through when I got to the Unilodge. Fortunately, today is much cooler and less humid.

‘Exploding chickens’ has to be the best title I have ever read anywhere! The mental image is priceless.

Like a chicken shop like a KFC type chicken shop or like a selling live chickens kind of chicken shop? Because the latter, while less likely, makes for a hilarious mental picture. (Feathers flying, squawking and confusion, escaped chickens gratefully breathing the air of freedom for the first time as the run amok in the streets…sigh…but it was probably just like a fried chicken shop, huh?)

A KFC-like chicken shop I think. Although, I’m not sure. I’ll quick search on Google News……… Yeah, it was a chicken restaurant. I would have preferred the latter too.
We have some chickens in a pen out here. I have some footage of them. I guess I can put at least an image of that up in my next post. I can have about 7-8 hours of 1080p footage on the external drive I brought. Yay technology.
