Black Stump Music Festival
Last weekend was pretty different from any other weekend I’ve ever had. Gift registries and music festivals… even a birthday party. The image above is of my fiance’s band playing at the gig. The lights were great and the sound was bleeding. It was all around perfect. Probably one of the best sets the band has had since I’ve been around. Well, other than the weekend it’s a steady flow of work for me.

Hi Brian and Anna,
After church both Jon and I crashed. Neither had a good night’s sleep. I heard Jon in the kitchen around 0515 and got up I had been awake since 0415. By 0615 we had had our oatmeal and the dishes were in the dishwasher, Jon had to get to choir rehearsal by 0830 and I followed at 0915.
After lunch Jon went to his buddy’s house to practice on drums with is group. I watched a bit of football between snoozes. He enjoys his music–singing in the church choir and drumming.
This will be a very quiet Christmas this year without the Wells family here to celebrate Christmas. Thanks for your letter. Always great to hear from you from the other side of the world,
